The Steadies with Gold Mynd at Red Bird Brewing

  • Red Bird Brewing 1080 Richter Street Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2K5 Canada (map)

The Steadies:

The Steadies aren’t invited to the party—they ARE the party. But even more than that, their feel-good music and positive vibe brings people together of all ages, races and genders. Mixing dance-rock with funk, pop and reggae influences, this high energy Canadian power trio created their own signature sound they’ve dubbed, ‘island rock.’ After working relentlessly for over 10 years releasing 7 albums/eps and performing nearly 900 shows, 2023 was the band’s biggest year yet. They won the Sask Music award for Artist of the Year, released 3 singles; a ‘Best Of’ album; and live album, toured Mexico, headlined major festivals and events including the TSN Labour Day Classic Half-Time Show at Mosaic Stadium, and rocked crowds of over 70,000 people.

The Steadies also have quite the rock n’ roll pedigree as frontman Earl Pereira was the founding member of popular Canadian rock band Wide Mouth Mason, who had three gold records, multiple JUNO nominations and has toured with iconic artists like The Rolling Stones and The Tragically Hip. Pereira was also named one of the top-5 bassists in Canadian Musician Magazine. With his world-class experience leading the way combined with their stellar live show and fresh new radio-worthy music, The Steadies are a band ready to break out to the masses in 2024 and beyond.

Gold Mynd:

A grounded, passionate, ambitious and prolific international Reggae artist who now calls Kelowna home is excited to bring his unique sound and style to the stage to further develop his organic connection with his fans of all ages. Unique to today’s music the songs produced not only get you on your feet – but they are suitable to audiences of ALL ages.
