On July 12th, Soe will be hosting Pamplemousse Jus to hang behind the bar and pour their wines. Vinyl set by @mattycaron of @disconomics, and a la carte dishes to share.
Founded by three friends, Pamplemousse Jus just took over a 10-acre property in Summerland last year that had a long history of organic farming. They’re now crafting beautifully handmade still and sparkling wines from their own fruit as well as from local growers. The whole team is hands-on, from tending to their vines and soil in the vineyard to pouring in their tasting room. They’re also one of the few wineries in Canada making wine from Leon Millot, an old French hybrid grape. Neutral vessels, basket press, manual labour, and wild ferments create these experimental and exciting wines. Made with a whole lot of happy hearts, “This is natural wine, baby!”
