Kuja Collective with Jordan Creek at Red Bird Brewing

  • Red Bird Brewing 1080 Richter Street Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2K5 Canada (map)

Kuja Collective, from Penticton, BC, creates infectious smiles and dancing feet with their eclectic blend of Celtic and Pop music. By reinventing traditional tunes, they offer a nostalgic yet fresh musical experience. Fahlon, originally from Vancouver Island, started playing the fiddle at 9 and found a love for Celtic and Metis melodies. After meeting Blake (guitar) at the University of Victoria, they united their passion for Celtic music, got married, and settled in Penticton. As Kuja Collective, they collaborate with local musicians, boasting impressive musical backgrounds and a love for creating joyful music.

Jordan Creek is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who weaves careful lyricism together with emotive singing and rhythmic, articulate guitar playing. His performances are markedly humorous, heartfelt and thought- provoking and his songs are earnest soul-expressions that he plays and sings with every fibre of his being.

After many years working as a singer-songwriter and guitarist for the Canadian bluegrass ensemble Under the Rocks, this year has seen Jordan step out on his own to start sharing the collection of original songs he’s been secretly amassing for over a decade. He’s adopted a new name, and is in the process of recording and releasing his music to the world. In the meantime, the only way to hear these songs is live at his show – don’t miss the chance to see him sing and play his heart out.
