JoieFarm Winery presents Summer Sessions every other Friday night in July and August.

It's an experience tailored for those who relish the magic of summer evenings in the Okanagan. Kick off your shoes, savour a glass of The Noble Blend, and let the sunset over the lake while live music carries you away.

Guests are welcomed at 6:00 pm with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. The music begins at 6:30 pm and wraps up around 8:30 pm, with a brief 15-minute break between sets.

August 30: Jared Jackel

Jared Jackel is a Penticton-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist presiding somewhere inside the otherworldly realm of gothic cowboy psychedelia. Jackel, releasing two self-produced albums under the title of Jared Jackel’s Bad Vibrations, is belligerently experimental—combining a meticulously refined command of bizarro-country tonality, with an aggressively original lyricism. Jackel’s spirited live sets consist of avant-garage, one-man-band style songs backed by foot-triggered bass drones, twangy post-western guitar playing, and retro-world drum machines.
