Chayce Kennedy, Myla & Rebecca Sichon at Red Bird Brewing

  • Red Bird Brewing 1080 Richter Street Kelowna, BC, V1Y 2K5 Canada (map)

Chayce Kennedy:

Chayce has been in love with music ever since she could reach a piano. Determined to empower other young women to discover and enjoy their own unique identity and purpose, Chayce exudes a contemporary pop energy through songs that are personal by nature and relatable in meaning.

As an emerging artist and songwriter, Chayce captured the interest of Juno award- winning producer Ryan Stewart (Carly Rae Jepsen, Jocelyn Alice, Carys), who collaborated with the young artist on three of her first five single releases between 2021 and 2022. After digging deeper as a songwriter, Chayce spent most of 2023 working closely with Grammy-nominated producer Brian West (Sia, Maroon 5, Nelly Furtado) and Juno award-winning producer Ryan Stewart on her debut EP, “Yours Truly.”

Slated for release in 2024, the five-song collection brings out the personal struggles, thoughts, feelings, and fears that Chayce has experienced. “Mr. Super Fine”, the first single from the EP, is now out.

Mylä:

The stage name of Okanagan artist Michelle Tucsok—developed her craft over 10+ years of performing. A hopeless romantic, Mylä’s music—as evidenced in her debut single ‘Loving You’—is designed to create moments of connection and healing. As a dedicated student of folk, slam poetry, and indie pop, Mylä combines experience and diverse influences effortlessly with an affecting personal touch—resulting in songs and performances that balance striking intimacy with technical confidence.

Rebecca Sichon:

Originally from Mission in British Columbia’s Fraser Valley, now living in the heart of the Okanagan, the Canadian singer/songwriter’s 2021 Dream Book EP was an adventure into electronic pop and pure pop itself.

So accomplished is the EP that it may be hard for the listener to believe that Rebecca was all of 19 when she recorded it, and younger when she wrote many of the songs.

The ambitious young talent has released more than 15 singles, and two EPs, and performed well over 200 shows including an unprecedented 25 Sofar Sounds shows over the past 12 months making her an alumnus of the Global Music Phenomenon.

She showcased on a multitude of stages at Toronto’s Canadian Music Week 2022 and 2023. Accolades include the 2020 and 2021 Fraser Valley Music Awards as Pop Artist of the Year and the 2022 FVMA R&B Artist of the Year. Just recently in 2023, she participated in both the RBC Launchpad Music Entrepreneur program and 604 Record’s Songwriting Camp.

In the midst of it all, she collaborated with artists and producers on 604 Record’s roster, resulting in two new singles, the first one being “Picking Petals”, an exploration of the fun (and not-so-fun) side of the age-old question, “Does he love me? Does he love me not?”. The release comes along with a powerful LIVE performance video against an upbeat electro-pop sound. In addition to “Picking Petals”, a second release named “Breaking Free” written in her authentic brand of R&B, Jazz & Soul released in November 2023.

With a promising recording career ahead of her and a growing live reputation thanks partly to her charming, natural stage presence, Rebecca is primed to break out of Canada and into the wider world.

Free show. Donations encouraged.
